Trump says Musk can be “the time he wants” in government

United States President Donald Trump once again supported counselor Elon Musk on Thursday (3) amid criticism of the billionaire to reduce government spending. Trump said Musk can be “as long as he wants,” but he will eventually return to his business.

“Elon is fantastic,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One while flying to Florida for a long weekend.

Tesla and Spacex CEO, Musk was criticized for overseeing a revision of the US bureaucracy that resigned from thousands of public servants.

Some recent news suggested that Musk could leave the Trump government soon, although it was not clear if this would occur before its 130 -day term as a special employee expires at the end of May.

Trump said Musk could be “the time he wants.”

“He will be for a certain period and then will go back to work in his full -time business. But he is doing a fantastic job,” said Trump.

Asked how long he would be, Trump said, “I think a few months.”
