United States President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he was informed that Russia’s deadly attack on the city of Sumy in northern Ukraine was “a mistake.”
Trump was speaking with reporters at Air Force One, on his way to the joint Andrews base in Maryland and from there to the White House.
When asked if I wanted to say that the attack was not intentional, the Republican repeated that it was a “error” without specifying who was informed about it.
“This is Biden’s war, this is not my war,” added Trump, who was traveling with his billionaire Elon Musk and Musk’s son.
Two Russian ballistic missiles hit the heart of the city of Sumy, northern Ukraine, on Sunday, killing 34 people and injuring 117 in the deadliest attack against Ukraine this year, authorities reported.
