The removal of the Spanish-language version was criticized by Democratic Senator Jack Schumer, who called for its reinstatement. “The removal of this source makes it more difficult to access necessary information for our fellow Americans,” he complained on Platform X. The shutdown of the Spanish-language version of the White House website comes in the context of the Republican president’s violent rhetoric against immigrants, who are coming mainly from Latin America.
