The President of the United States, Donald Trump, said this Friday (24) that he wants to guarantee two things in his visit to California later in the day: voter identification laws and changes in water policy after major forest fires.
“I just want voter identification to start, and I want the water to be released, and they are going to get a lot of help from the US,” declared the Republican during a visit to North Carolina.
On Wednesday, Trump threatened to withhold aid and repeated a false claim that California Governor Gavin Newsom and other officials had refused to supply water from the northern part of the state to fight the fires.
