During the oath of office as President of the United States this Monday (20), Donald Trump will use the same Bible that Abraham Lincoln used in 1861, according to the Republican’s committee.
Trump will also use a personal Bible when he takes the oath. Both Bibles were used by the Republican during the 2017 inauguration.
Former American President Barack Obama also used the Lincoln Bible during his two inauguration ceremonies.
Vice President-elect JD Vance will take the oath of office using a family Bible that dates back to his great-grandmother.
Trump’s oath and inauguration speech will be held inside the US Capitol, the seat of the US Congress, due to the extreme cold. The last time this happened was in 1985, when Ronald Reagan took office for a second term.
