Tsavousoglu: Civilian killings in Ukraine have hampered negotiations

The head of Turkish diplomacy Mevlüt Tsavousoglu estimated today that the killings of civilians in Ukraine have made peace talks between Moscow and Kiev more difficult.

He stressed, however, that he expects that the negotiations will continue, probably at the level of Foreign Ministers.

These statements of the Turkish Foreign Minister, transmitted by the APE BPE, citing Reuters and Anadolu agencies, were made during his arrival at the meeting of his Foreign Ministers NATOwhich is currently in progress.

Earlier, Kremlin says talks ‘not going fast’ over Western ‘hysteria’ following Kiev’s allegations on the commission of war crimes by the Moscow forces.

Mr. Tsavousoglou’s reports on the killing of civilians obviously concern, the events in Bouka, which came to light a few days ago, after the Russian army left this city of the Kiev region.

He also said that the North Atlantic Alliance is aware of the needs of Ukraine for more arms and that the Allies are considering sending additional assistance.
