Positivo Tecnologia announced this Monday (27) that it was confirmed as a supplier of electronic voting machines to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), in a tender with a total value of up to 1.18 billion reais.
The company was the only one qualified to participate in the TSE’s tender, which provides for the supply of up to 176,000 electronic voting machines.
The company stated that it will be asked to sign a Price Registration Act, which is valid for 12 months as of publication in the Federal Official Gazette.
“Supplies will occur from the timely formalization of supply contracts with the provision of services, in batches that may be required by the TSE,” stated Positivo in a material fact.
The company’s shares, which advanced just over 1% before the disclosure of the material fact, accelerated and rose 4.6% around 11:56 am, while the Ibovespa showed gains of 0.2% in volatile trading.
