TSE receives suggestions from the Armed Forces on electronic voting machines

The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) received suggestions from the Armed Forces to improve the functioning of electronic voting machines.

The document was sent to the Commission for Transparency in Elections, formed by the TSE with representatives from various institutions and sectors of society.

The representative of the Armed Forces on the commission is General Heber Garcia Portella, commander of Cyber ​​Defense, who was responsible for presenting the suggestions.

According to judicial sources heard by the CNN, the Armed Forces had previously submitted suggestions and sent new suggestions this week.

The suggestions will be joined with the proposals of the other entities. Representatives of the TCU, the OAB, the PF and the Electoral Public Ministry are also part of the commission.

All suggestions will be analyzed until April 25th, when there will be a group meeting and the commission’s action plan will be finalized. The suggestions already presented are confidential and must be disclosed at this meeting.
