TUI turned green for flights to five Greek islands from May 17

Flights and vacation schedules in five Greek islands will be realized by the travel company TUI, from 17 May when they will resume unnecessary travel from Britain.

According to the Mirror, the company has confirmed that it will launch flights to 19 destinations included in both the “green” and the “Orange” travel list of Britain. The latter include the Rhodes, Crete, Corfu, Zakynthos and Kos.

According to TUI, vacation plans will not be provided to countries that require travelers to remain in quarantine in a hotel but not in those on the “red” list of Britain.

TUI will offer flights on its schedule from May 17 to 27 from airports Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.

In detail, TUI starts flights in the following areas:

Destinations in the “green” list:

  • Porto Santo

Destinations in the “orange” list:

  • Antigua
  • Barbados
  • Crete
  • Corfu
  • Cuba
  • Fuerteventura
  • Gran Canaria
  • Grenada
  • Kos
  • Λανθαρότε
  • La Palma
  • Malta
  • Rhodes
  • Saint Lucia
  • Tenerife
  • Zante

It is noted that our country is on the “orange” list, which means that the British who will visit Greece will have to enter a mandatory 10-day quarantine upon their return.

However, the “green” list will be reviewed in three weeks.
