Tupac’s brother disbelieves that Diddy was not involved in the rapper’s death

Mopreme Shakur rapper’s half-brother Tupac spoke out about the artist’s death after rumors emerged that Sean Combs known as Diddy could be involved in the case.

In a recent appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” Mopreme seemed unconvinced by Diddy’s denial, which he claimed had no connection to the rapper’s death. According to information from TMZ, the brother believes that the businessman was not “100% honest” in his statements.

During Mopreme’s participation in the program, the journalist Piers Morgan recalled that, in 2008, Diddy hired him to deny any involvement in the shooting that killed Tupac in 1996.

Also according to TMZ, this call came after a controversial article in the LA Times, which suggested that Diddy’s associates had planned the shooting that injured Tupac. The article, however, was later retracted by the newspaper due to uncertainty about its veracity.

According to the website, Mopreme made it clear that, despite Diddy’s denial, he still believes that the truth about Tupac’s murder has not been completely revealed. “I told him [Diddy] that the truth has not yet been fully revealed, so we will see”, he stated.

Additionally, prosecutors prosecuting Duane “Keefe D” Davis, a man arrested last year in connection with the case, attempted to use his statements that indicated Diddy might have offered money for Tupac’s murder. This new wave of investigations caused the Shakur family to hire lawyers to explore allegations of involvement by the rapper and businessman, who is currently in prison.

Mopreme, who was also part of the group ThugLife with Tupac, admitted that the doubt persists almost 30 years after his death. “It is quite possible that he [Diddy] is lying, and it’s starting to look like that, in my opinion,” he said during the program, emphasizing the need to reevaluate the evidence and accusations surrounding the case.

Although Diddy has repeatedly denied any involvement, and has never been arrested or formally charged, suspicion continues to hover over him, especially following the arrest of Keefe D. The latter had stated that the rapper allegedly offered one million dollars to Tupac was murdered, further increasing the tension surrounding the case.
