Turkey: Arrests and deportations for ties to the Mossad

Turkish court decided today to officially arrest 15 people and to deport another eight allegedly related to Israeli intelligence Mossad and that they had targeted Palestinians living in Turkey, public broadcaster TRT Haber reported.

This week the Turkish authorities detained 34 people, after Mrwarned Israel that there would be “severe consequences” if it attempts to go after Hamas members living outside the Palestinian territories, including Turkey.

TRT Haber's report did not specify what was decided in court about the remaining 11 detainees.

Turkey, as reported by APE-MPE, unlike most Western countries, does not consider Hamas a terrorist organization and has publicly criticized Israel for bombing Gaza.
