Turkey: At least five workers killed in an explosion at a rocket factory in Ankara

At least five people were killed following explosion that occurred at a rocket factory in Ankara on Saturday morning and more specifically in the Elmadag area.

According to Hurriyetits Ministry of Defense Turkey announced that five workers had been killed and that an investigation had been launched into how the fatal accident happened.

THE explosion was noted in the dynamite preparation section and the first estimates are that some chemical reaction took place.

To the point Firefighters immediately arrived and brought the flames under control before they spread.

It is noted that the factory operates to meet the needs of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of the Interior in rockets and explosives.
