Another 63,082 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours were announced today (16/04) by Turkey. This number is a record since the beginning of the pandemic, according to data released today by the Ministry of Health of the neighboring country.
The total number of cases in Turkey is 4,150,039.
In the last 24 hours, another 289 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of victims to 35,320.
Turkey currently ranks fourth in the world in terms of new cases, according to a Reuters Reuters count.
