Turkey: Challenges again with bright Muslim banners outside Hagia Sophia

Turkey is taking on another challenge, using it Hagia Sophia- a symbol of Orthodoxy that was recently turned into a mosque – an unprecedented show, to strike again at the sentiment of Christians everywhere.

Specifically, between the two minarets built during the Ottoman Empire, today was placed for the first time the inscription “There is no other god but Allah.”

The Muslim banner is in the form of a light inscription.

These lanterns are usually placed in the country’s large mosques.

Hagia Sophia, after 86 years, reopened as a mosque, and the movement of placing the inscription was an event that was advertised for days in the country, acting as a seal of the decision to convert the church into a mosque.
