Turkey: Erdogan promises ‘new targets for 2053’

New targets for 2053 are set by Tayyip Erdogan, at a time when inflation has jumped to 60%.

According to SKAI, the Turkish president, in a speech yesterday, presented the goals for the 600 years since the fall of Istanbul, describing the harsh economic indicators and product prices as a “bubble”.

“As soon as the uncertainty disappears, we hope that there will be a balance between supply and demand, the supply chain will work and the price bubble will disappear,” Erdogan said.

As he said, “we are on the verge of 2023 and so we are accelerating our vision for our next goal for 2053. Today we will announce another goal for 2053, which we have dedicated to the 600 years since the fall of Istanbul”.

“We will announce the basic transport plan and logistical support,” Erdogan said.
