Turkey imposes fines on passengers raising prematurely from their positions on the plane

The impatient passengers who rise from their position before the plane stops completely or rushing to the corridor without their turn to come will now face a fine in Turkey. According to a new circular of the Turkish Directorate -General for Civil Aviation, those who do not respect “the priority of landing and the satisfaction of the rest of the passengers” will be punished administratively. The Director General of the Service, Kemal Yuxek, ordered the cabin crews to warn offenders, stressing that this behavior not only causes delays but also endangers the safety of passengers and luggage.
