Turkey, which supports the government of Tripoli, today called for a ceasefire “without delay” in the Libyan capital, where bloody clashes between armed organizations have been marked for several days. “We call on all sides to implement, without delay, the complete and sustainable ceasefire and to launch a dialogue to resolve their disputes,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. “Turkey is ready to play its role to help find a viable solution,” he added. Heavy clashes, which had begun at night, occurred today in densely populated districts of Tripoli, following the battles of the previous days in which at least six people were killed.
