Turkey today announced 76,332 new cases of coronavirus and 266 deaths due to complications of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, according to official data from the country’s Ministry of Health.
During the same period, 438,553 virus detection tests were performed throughout the country.
In terms of the vaccination program, 57.57 million people have been vaccinated with a single dose, 52.64 million have been fully vaccinated and 26.28 million have received the so-called booster dose.
Since the start of the pandemic, Covid-19 has killed 5.8 million people in 192 countries, and the total number of infections is estimated at 412.44 million worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University in the United States.
