Turkey: Over 27,800 cases of coronavirus in 24 hours

The Turkish Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 27,824 cases of SARS-CoV-2 had been confirmed in the previous 24 hours after 357,832 tests, with the registered infections reaching 8,259,503.

The deaths of another 187 patients with COVID-19 increased the death toll to 72,314 dead until yesterday, March 11, 2020, when the new coronavirus pandemic broke out in Turkish territory.

Since the start of the population immunization campaign in Turkey on January 14th, 55.66 million people – out of a total population of 84 million – have received the first dose of vaccine, followed by a second dose of 49.27 million, with a total dose of 117.56 million. including third parties, aids, according to the Ministry of Health.
