Turkey – Poll: Kemalist CHP Leads – Erdogan’s AKP’s Second

The ruling Republican People’s Party (CHP) is the ruling opposition party with a higher percentage than the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) of Tayyip Erdogan. According to the latest Eurasia Research poll, the CHP increased its vote to 30.4%, while the AKP fell to 27.6%.

The Eurasia Research poll, according to philenews.com, was conducted between November 27th and December 3rd with the participation of 1260 people in 26 provinces. According to the poll, the undecided were reduced and their votes shifted to the opposition parties.

When asked if there is an economic crisis, 71% answered positively, while when asked if the current government can end the economic crisis, 72.1% answered negatively and 14.3% positively.

To the question who do you think has the largest share in the current economic situation, 84.2% answered Tayyip Erdogan, 73.2% the AKP, 70.1% the People’s Alliance (AKP and far-right MHP), 70, 4% Devlet Bahceli 70.4 percent, 67.8% MHP, 15.4% Kemal Kilicdaroglu.

When asked if President Erdogan manages the economy well or badly, 80.3% said it was badly managed and 12.3% said it was well managed.

When asked if they believe that the inflation announced by the government is real, 7.4% answered positively and 85.9% negatively.

When asked if early elections should be held, 67.5% answered positively and 22.8% negatively.

To the question which party do you intend to vote in case of early elections (The undecided are not divided), 26.4% answered CHP, 24% AKP, 11.3% Good Party of Meral Aksener, 9.5% the pro-Kurdish HDP , 5.7% of the far-right MHP of Devlet Bahceli, 2.3% of DEVA of Ali Babacan and 2.3% of the Party of the Future of Ahmet Davutoglu.

With the distribution of votes undecided, the percentages of the parties are as follows: CHP: 30.4%, AKP: 27.6%, Good Party: 12.9%, HDP: 11%, MHP: 6.5%, DEVA: 6%, Party of the Future: 2.5%.

When asked if they would vote for Tayyip Erdogan again, 30.2% said yes and 56% said no. 13.8% answered that they depend on other candidates.

When asked who they would vote for if one of the following names was a candidate against Erdogan or went to the second round, 48% would vote for Kemal Kilicdaroglu, 44.1% for Ali Babacan, 50.6% for Ekrem Imamoglu, 50.6% for Mansour Γιαβάς.
