Turkey: Russian and Ukrainian officials will be in Ankara 15 and 16 April for safety in the Black Sea

A meeting on the Black Sea Security will take place between Russian and Ukrainian officials in Ankara on April 15 and 16, according to a CNN Turk report. Russian and Ukrainian officials will meet at the Turkish Navy General Staff in Ankara on April 15 and 16 to discuss the safety of the Black Sea after a possible truce between Moscow and Kiev, the Turkish Ministry said. At the same time, the meeting will be held with the participation of military representatives of foreign countries, will discuss the maritime dimension of military planning that can be held to keep peace in the Black Sea. Let’s say that efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Russia’s war with Ukraine were discussed yesterday (12/04) by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov. The two ministers also discussed issues of energy cooperation and bilateral relations during a meeting on the sidelines of the Antalya diplomatic forum.
