Turkey: The gap between the CHP and Erdogan's AKP is widening

Turkey's main opposition Kemalist Republican People's Party (CHP) is ahead of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), according to the latest poll conducted in Turkey. In the question of the research company Metropoll “which party would you vote for if parliamentary elections were held this Sunday”, the citizens polled answered 35.9% in favor of the CHP and 31.1% in favor of the AKP.
