Turkey expresses condemnation of Joe Biden’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide, through the representative of the presidency Ibrahim Kalin.
Kalin stressed that Joe Biden’s statement has no legal basis and will “open a deep” wound in bilateral ties.
Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said the United States should look to the past, reacting to President Joe Biden’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
“We strongly condemn and reject the remarks of the US President, who only repeat the accusations of those whose only agenda is hostility towards our country,” Kalin said in a Twitter message.
“We advise the US President to look at the past and the present” of his country.
