Turkey wants to buy 40 Eurofighters but Germany objects

We are planning to buy 40 Eurofighter fighter jets from the United Kingdom and Spain,” said the Turkish Defense Minister.

Referring to the latest situation regarding the national fighter jet Kaan, which was developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ), Güler said: “God willing, KAAN will make its flight at the end of this year.” Regarding the S-400 air defense systems purchased from Russia, Güler said: “We cannot take the S-400s and leave them in a corner of a factory. When we need them, we’ll push the button.”
