A fine for exceeding the speed limit was imposed on Turkey’s Minister of Transport after posing a video showing him 225 km/h on a motorway -almost twice as much as the permitted limit -causing derogatory comments on social media and social media. The video, with folk background music, and excerpts from President Tayyip Erdogan’s speech exemplifying government infrastructure, shows the control of Minister Abdulkadir Veillou’s car to “take off” and the car passing on others.
