A group of Turkish Cypriots living and working in London launched an incredible challenge against the Republic of Cyprus. They celebrated the illegal proclamation of the pseudo-state by raising the flag of the occupation, outside the City Hall building in Waltham Forest.
It is noted that, through their news, Turkish and Turkish Cypriot media promote the event, as the first official hoisting of the flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in a government building in the United Kingdom. They even indicate that the 38th anniversary of the “founding” of “TRNC” is celebrated in other countries besides Northern Cyprus.
The provocative event was attended by about fifty people and the flag of the pseudo-state was hoisted with the rejection of the Turkish national anthem.
