A Turkish military delegation will travel to Russia this week to discuss details of a possible Black Sea export corridor to the Black Sea, Turkish broadcasters said on Tuesday, citing sources in the Turkish presidency.
The Habertürk radio station said a quadripartite meeting between Turkey, Ukraine, Russia and the United Nations would take place in Istanbul within 10 days, and that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan could attend the meeting.
Sources quoted by Habertürk said that three corridors will be created according to the plan in four separate ports in the city of Odessa and that both Ukrainian and Russian food will be sent from there. They said 30-35 million tonnes of grain is expected to be shipped from there in 6-8 months.
