Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wishes Ecumenical Patriarch a speedy recovery

The warm wishes of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, for a speedy recovery, were conveyed to the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew by the Minister of Health, Dr. Fahrettin Koca, in a telephone conversation that took place that evening.

Mr. Kotza conveyed to His Holiness, who remains under observation in a central hospital of the city, the interest of the President and himself personally for the course of his health and assured him that the authorities of the country are on his side for whatever is needed.

According to the announcement, the Ecumenical Patriarch was contacted earlier by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who expressed his heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery of his health.
