Recall that in 2011 the company released the Motorola Lapdock device, made in the form of a laptop, the heart of which was a smartphone connected to it.

However, at that time, the performance of platforms in smartphones for such tasks was too low. In recent years, similar technologies have been promoted by Samsung and Huawei. And now Motorola decided to remember that once upon a time it was a pioneer of this market.

So the new technology is called Ready For. It allows you to connect smartphones to monitors or TVs via USB-C. When connected, a special shell is automatically launched, similar in design to desktop operating systems. At the moment, only the flagship Edge + supports the technology, but Motorola is unlikely to stop there.
