Turtle Beach recently announced the release of the Recon 500 gaming headset. The manufacturer begins the description of the novelty by mentioning the “first of its kind” patented 60 mm Eclipse dual emitters. Another advantage of the headset is the AccuTune cups, which use a composite material based on wood. The combination of Eclipse drivers and AccuTune ear cups is said to provide “unprecedented sound quality at every frequency.” The range of reproducible frequencies is declared equal to 20-20,000 Hz.

The ear cups with memory foam and a lightweight headband provide “exceptional comfort”. The Recon 500 also features ProSpecs’ patented goggle design.
Recon 500 features a detachable noise-canceling TruSpeak microphone. The headset is connected to a computer or other electronic device with a 1.3 m cable. The presence of a standard 3.5 mm jack provides compatibility with Xbox One, Xbox X series | S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices.

The headset is available in black and arctic camouflage. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is approximately $ 80. Acceptance of pre-orders has already begun. Sales in Europe are due to begin on June 18th.
