Tuta, Marcola’s replacement on the CPC, is arrested by PF in Bolivia

The Federal Police arrested Marcos Roberto de Almeida, the Tuta, leader of the CCP and named Marcola’s replacement in the faction. The arrest took place in Bolivia.

A coordinated action between the Brazilian Federal Police and Lucha’s Special Fuerza against El Crial (Felcc) of Bolivia resulted in the arrest of Tuta on Friday afternoon (16) in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. He was arrested on charges of using false identification document.

According to PF, Tuta was convicted in Brazil for criminal association and capital washing, with a penalty of over 12 years. Its name was on Interpol’s red diffusion list, an international alert for the location and arrest of individuals sought after in several countries.

At the moment, the CCP leader remains under the custody of the Bolivian authorities. He awaits the formal confirmation of his identity and the legal procedures that may result in his extradition to Brazil, where he must serve the penalty imposed by the Brazilian Justice.
