The total locked asset value (TVL) of the Lido Finance protocol has reached $20.911 billion, according to DeFiLlama. This is a new all-time high.
At the same time, the number of Ethereum stakers on the resource exceeded 200,000 for the first time. This figure appears in monthly service report.
As of the end of November 2023, TVL increased by 18.61%, the volume of Ethereum blocked by 5.17%, and the number of unique stakers by 2.96%.
At the same time, according to the report, the volume of placed MATIC and SOL tokens decreased by 6.61% and 52.75%, respectively. The latter is probably dictated by the suspension of support for the Solana token staking project.
What is noteworthy is that for most of November the flow of capital to the site was positive, which cannot be said about the first week of December 2023:
Lido Finance’s growing influence in the Ethereum ecosystem is causing concern among community members. Some of them claim that this state of affairs leads to the centralization of the blockchain.
