The famous book series of “Dusk” by the author Stephenie Meyers will be adapted by the streaming service Netflix. The platform released the production this Wednesday (4), revealing that it will be an animated series of “Midnight Sun”.
The book “Midnight Sun” (2020), narrates the past of the character Edward Cullen, played in the films by the actor Robert Pattinson and the moment he first meets Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) a high school classmate who later becomes his wife. The earlier, wildly popular books were told from Bella’s point of view.
There are still no other details about the plot or cast of the new production.
The original four volumes of the “Twilight” saga have sold more than 100 million copies worldwide. Starting in 2008, they were adapted into a series of five films starring actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
