On one of the best known beaches of Salvador, in Barra, two people needed to be rescued by the Military Police after drowned On the morning of this Sunday (18). It was necessary to use an aircraft from the PMBA Air Group (GRAER).
The bathers tried to save themselves, but could not reach the shore of the beach because of the strength of the waves. Time is unstable in the Bahian capital, with rain showers at any time and gusts of wind above 40km/h.
Videos show the moment of rescue. For the operation, an aircraft crew member was thrown into the sea and took the pair to the sand strip. See below:
The victims were fine and did not need medical attention. They did not have their identity disclosed.
