Two Brazilian burger joints are among the 25 best in the world. This is the result of the evaluation by the Swedish website Burgerdudes whose team has been judging the best burgers around the world for over 10 years. The official website has over 829 reviews from 62 countries.
The current list with the “25 best burgers in the world ” was revealed on Monday (9) and contains an address in São Paulo and one in Rio de Janeiro.

Node 4th place appears the Holy Burger in Vila Buarque, in the center of São Paulo. The editors highlighted the Pony Line, which features aged dried beef, cheddar and bacon molasses.
According to the review, the “fluffy, golden-brown bun contains some perfectly balanced ingredients” and the “incredibly juicy burger” has “deep flavors and delicious texture.” The burger is not currently on the restaurant’s menu, but is expected to return by the end of September.
The other Brazilian burger joint on the list is Red Burger in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro. She appears in 19th position. There are only six options on the menu, with the highlight being the Reincarnated Clown, with toasted brioche, American cheese, cheddar, onion, ketchup, mustard and pickles.
“The cheese provides a delicious creaminess, and the excellent pickles contrast nicely with the rich meat, creating a classic harmony of flavors,” the review says.
Both establishments had already entered the same ranking released in 2023. São Paulo’s Holy Burger had come in 5th place, jumping one position this year, and Rio’s Encarnado had taken 19th place, a position repeated in 2024.
Other highlights
The first place in the ranking went to Hundred Burgers with branches in Valencia and Madrid, Spain. Last year, the burger chain ranked 2nd on Burgerdudes’ list.
Also appearing in the ranking is On the Horse in 3rd place, which serves what is considered one of the best burgers in the United States. The Chicago location is a must-see on your city itinerary, but there is also a branch in New York.
In addition to the two Brazilian burger joints, ten are from the United States, four from England, three from Spain, three from Sweden and, with one burger joint each, Germany, Denmark and Scotland appear. Check out the full list here.
