Two dead in a Ukrainian strike in the Russian border city of Belgorod

Two people died and three were injured in a Ukrainian missile attack on the Russian border city of Belgorod, as announced today, Saturday 16/3 by the regional governor. In a statement on the Telegram messaging app, Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said a man and a woman were dead. The man died when his truck was hit and the woman was killed in a parking lot. This woman's son was seriously injured and doctors are “fighting to keep him alive”. Two more people were injured. According to the governor and as reported by the Athens News Agency citing Reuters and AFP, the city was hit by missiles launched by the Vampire system.
