Hudson Tadeu Menezes, 31, and Deivid Junior de Jesus Santos, 18, were murdered on Sunday night (13) in Santana do Riacho, in Serra do Cipó, an important tourist destination in Minas Gerais.
According to the Military Police of Minas Gerais (PM), they were shot dead by two hooded suspects. The victims were in a bar when they were surprised by armed individuals. David managed to run but ended up being hit and killed a few meters away from the bar.
Hudson was shot while still inside the establishment. The official expertise of the Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG) was called and released the bodies to the Legal Medical Institute (IML).
According to the PM, Hudson had several convictions for drug trafficking, robbery and illegal possession of a firearm. The suspicion is that the crime is related to the dispute between drug trafficking gangs over territory.
So far no one has been arrested. PCMG investigates the case.
