Two men have been charged with murder in the Super Bowl parade shootings in Kansas

Two men were charged with murder after the shootings which broke out in the Kansas of Missouri and had a tragic toll of one dead and 22 injured near the Super Bowl victory parade of the NFL champion Chiefs, prosecutors announced today (2/20).

The two suspects, identified as Dominick Miller of Kansas City and Lindell Mays of nearby Raytown, each face charges of second-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon, according to a statement from the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office, which reveals that: “There was a verbal altercation and gunfire erupted without regard for the thousands of other people in the area».

The woman who lost her life was Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a popular local radio personality.
