Two Palestinian children were killed today by Israeli fire in the city of Jenin of the possessed West Bankaccording to a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, relayed by APE-MPE.
They are Adam Samer al-Ghoul, 8, and 15-year-old Basil Suleiman Abu al-Wafa, according to Al Jazeera’s correspondent in Ramallah. The first was shot in the head and the second in the chest, by an Israeli sniper. Both, like most children in Jenin, lived in the city’s refugee camp and took to the streets to protest against Israeli occupationand defend their community, with improvised “weapons”.
The death of the two innocents happened a few hours after Israeli invasion in the city’s refugee camp, where bulldozers destroy roads and water infrastructure.
Video from cold blooded murder of the two minors is making the rounds on the internet, causing outrage, indignation but also unspeakable pain for the two bereaved children. One child is recorded trying to escape from the gunfire but eventually receives a bullet in the head and falls to the ground covered in blood. Another kid who has taken cover behind a parked vehicle pulls him towards him, but unfortunately he is already dead.
In the second video, the second victim is seen, who is also trying to take cover from the gunfire he receives. There are other peers around him running for cover. At least four bullets appear to hit just inches from his body before the fifth found him in the chest. The child falls to the ground, obviously injured, where he takes his last breath a little later.
