The Federal Police (PF) launched Operation Temporal in Bahia this Wednesday morning (29). The PF confirmed to the CNN that at least two suspects died.
One of them was identified as Pablio Henrique Barbosa Almeida, aged 25. According to the Civil Police, he was shot after firing at teams from the PF and the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP). Pablio was rescued and taken to Menandro de Faria Hospital, but he did not resist.
With convictions for illegal possession of a firearm and denounced by the State Public Prosecutor’s Office for drug trafficking and criminal association, Pablio displayed photos with a rifle and submachine gun on social media, in addition to leading groups to attack rivals in the Subúrbio Ferroviário region, more precisely in Valeria region.
There is still no confirmation of the identity of the second suspect killed in the operation.
In the action, 12 search and seizure warrants were issued, in addition to eight arrest warrants against the criminal organization suspected of killing federal police officer Lucas Caribé, in Salvador, on September 15th.
The federal agent participated in Operation Fauda, ​​conducted by the Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime (Ficco) of the Federal Police and the Secretariat of Public Security of Bahia (SSP-BA) against a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking, weapons, homicides and robberies.
