Two teenagers are killed in conflict between criminals in Rio de Janeiro

On Saturday afternoon (02), a conflict between criminals in the Nova Aurora neighborhood, in Belford Roxo, in Baixada Fluminense, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), led to the death of two teenagers.

According to the Military Police, agents from the 39th BPM (Belford Roxo) were called to the incident. A teenager was found dead near Morro do Avião, a community neighboring the neighborhood where the incident occurred.

A young woman injured by gunshots was rescued and taken to Belford Roxo Municipal Hospital, but did not survive.

The military police reported that they became aware of an armed confrontation between criminals, a man was arrested and a weapon was seized.

During the action, there was a brief confrontation between the criminals and the agents. The PM also reinforces that policing in the region is reinforced and the case was presented at the 54th DP.
