The article of the criminal code under which the two generals are being prosecuted was not specified, reports the Russian news agency RIA. which refers to the “wanted list” maintained by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hana Maliar spoke of a failed attempt by Moscow to lower the morale of the Ukrainian armed forces. “Exercising psychological pressure on (military) commanders who are fighting an enemy who is outnumbered and outgunned is pointless”she wrote in a post on the Telegram platform.
