Samsung has begun rolling out an update to the One UI 3.1 proprietary shell based on the fresh Android 11 operating system for the Galaxy Note10 series smartphones.
Last week Samsung announced the launch of a new batch of One UI 3.1 updates for a whole range of smartphones. And now, Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10 + users (review) have started receiving stable firmware updates. German users were the first to join the update. Users in all regions will gradually receive it.
The firmware numbered N97xFXXU6FUBD has a size of over 1 GB, is available “over the air” and additionally offers the Android security update for March 2021 (this is not a bug, the security update is really called that and will begin to be massively distributed in March).
The One UI 3.1 update brings users a range of camera capabilities for capturing and editing shots, as well as new smart features for everyday life. New innovations include Private Share to determine who is allowed access to content being sent and for how long, Eye Comfort Shield (automatically adjusts blue light based on time of day), removes location metadata from photos, automatically switches Galaxy Buds from one device Galaxy to another, and so on.
In Russia, One UI 3.1 will be available soon.
