More of 100 people were injured during Typhoon Haikui in Taiwan over the weekend. Before reaching the Asian island, winds of up to 155 km/h were recorded.
More of 260 thousand houses were left without electricity. The phenomenon also caused the cancellation of around 200 flights . Floods were also recorded on the island.
Heavy rains are expected to continue to hit Taiwan in the coming days. Haikui is the first typhoon to hit Taiwan in four years.
He is heading towards China, where he should arrive in the next few hours on Monday (4).
In Hong Kong, at least 86 people were injured in the passage of another typhoon, Saola, which made landfall in the city after passing through the Philippines.
