“The situation in Ukraine is the most serious challenge for the rule of law in the 21st century”
It is noted that in his statements earlier today, coming to the extraordinary Summit in Brussels, the Greek Foreign Minister had stated that the current situation in Ukraine is the most serious challenge for the rule of international law in the 21st century.
In detail, Mr. Dendias said:
“Greece, as a matter of principle, is always in favor of the rule of law. And of course, the current situation in Ukraine is the most serious challenge for the rule of law in the 21st century.
In today’s debate in NATO, we must tackle this challenge in a very appropriate way, in full unity and in full compliance with international law.
As you know, Greece has a significant minority of 150,000 people around Mariupol in Ukraine. We care about these people. As we speak, there is “Nostos 3″, our third evacuation operation. We care and pray for our compatriots. ”
