The Irish band U2 shared news on social media this Thursday (26). The group, made up of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. announced a new album, “How to Re-Assemble An Atomic Bomb” intended to honor the 20th anniversary of the band’s 11th studio album, “How to Dismantle An Atomic Bomb”. They have already released two new tracks from the project.
On the band’s official Instagram profile, U2 calls the new album a “shadow album”. It will consist of 10 tracks, including remastered versions of songs and unreleased songs that were produced at the time but never released.
U2 will also release a restored version of classic songs from the 2004 album. Both this and the new album will be released on all platforms in November 22nd.
To celebrate the announcement, the group released the songs “Country Mile” and “Picture of You (X+W)” .
