A remote-controlled drone struck an airbase in its Kursk region of Russia causing a fuel storage tank to catch fire, said the head of the regional government, Roman Staravoit.
“There were no casualties. The fire has been contained. Emergency services are working on the ground,” Mr. Staravoit said in a post on the Telegram platform.
Kursk region is adjacent to Ukraine.
