The ability to choose an accent color has long been present in popular operating systems (both Windows and macOS) and desktop environments, but it has not yet been available in Ubuntu. Fortunately, the developers fussed at the last moment – on the eve of the deadline before freezing the user interface, after which serious changes in the design can only be made because of very good reasons. This was reported by the portal OMG! Ubuntu!
In the settings, users will be able to choose not any accent color, but one of ten pre-prepared ones (their list may change up to the release, now they are taken from the Yaru color palette). The default is orange. The change in accent color shows up in every corner of the system.

In addition, a new logo began to be used everywhere in the system: during system boot, in the authorization window and, of course, in the settings.
