Operations at the University of California, Los Angeles campus are expected to resume “fully” on Monday (6), according to a statement from the institution.
“Police presence continues to be stationed around campus to help promote safety,” the statement said.
Campus operations will remain limited during the weekend, with classes being held remotely, he highlighted.
“We encourage work, events and research activities to remain remote or be rescheduled whenever possible during this period,” they warned.
Student affairs staff will be on campus “to support our students,” the school said, adding that people should avoid the Royce Quad area.
This place recorded cases of violence this week. On Tuesday night, dozens of men attacked the pro-Palestine protest camp at UCLA with “rudimentary weapons,” according to a video provided to CNN.
More than 200 people were arrested Thursday on suspicion of resisting orders to disperse the now-dismantled camp on campus, UCLA Chancellor Gene Block said.
University classes were canceled on Wednesday (1st), moving to the remote model on Thursday.
