A hearing to discuss security issues in relation to Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) will be held this Tuesday (17) at the United States House of Representatives, where the country’s deputies legislate.
The meeting was commissioned by the House Intelligence Committee. Indiana Democratic Party Representative André Carson, who leads the subcommittee responsible for the hearing, stated at the opening of the session that “this hearing and our observation work has a central idea: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena are a potential threat to the national security, and they need to be treated that way.”
The agenda will be largely based on a report released in 2021 by the US government, which detailed 144 UFO sightings by the US military since 2004.
Among the deponents are Ronald Moultrie, undersecretary of intelligence and security for US Defense, who oversees the department’s Air Object Identification and Synchronization Management group, and Scott Bray, deputy director of naval intelligence.
